- The makers use different type of hide to make the bikinis, only some of it are machine washable. The others strictly requires hand washing with care.
- Wash the leather bikini immediately after use to remove any traces of chlorine or salt water. Do not use regular detergents to wash; else, it ruins the color and texture of the leather. Choose very mild detergents or follow the manufacturer’s recommendation.
- Always use Luke-warm water for washing and rinsing. Do not ring the leatherwear to remove excess water. You can lightly squeeze the water and stretch the leatherwear to the original size, very gently, before drying.
- Never, dry the washed leatherwear in sun and dry it only under the shade. For drying spread the wear on a flat surface and avoid a cloths line.
