If one is looking for major international and British brands then London’s main shopping areas has the best of London fashion to offer you. These are around Oxford Street and Regent Street while at Knightsbridge you will find stores stocked with even more up market goods. In case you are looking for specialist goods then you should head straight to Covent garden while in case you have some real serious money to spend then you can head straight away to New Bond Street which houses the most exclusive of London fashion. If you’re looking for a great bargain in electrical goods, than go straight to Tottenham Court Road which is a must of all things electrical. And if watches and jewellery of London fashion interest you then go to Hatton Garden. Hence you will notice that every thing that you want to shop for has its own specialized roads dedicated to those particular wares.
Let us now have a look at what is available in the London fashion’s principal shopping areas.
Department stores are mostly clustered around Oxford Street. Having said that Knightsbridge has the two main department stores located on it mainly Harrods and Harvey Nicols.
You name the brand and they are for sale at London fashion. Most of the brand outlets are located at Regent Street.
Then you have exclusive designer stores located around Old and New Bond Street and Sloane Street.
At the same time there are a lot of independent fashion shops and boutiques dotting the streets around Covent Garden. There is also an overgrowing number of these in Carnaby Street. Carnaby Street over the last decade has become a trendy London fashion destination. However, it wasn’t considered to be one a few years ago.
Who hasn’t heard of the traditional British tailor centered around Piccadilly, particularly on Saville Row. Central London is famous for all the possible music stores.
London’s West End is a key location in the national and global cultures of fashion. Its shops have been for generations a focus of London fashion. This area covers many of the important streets that contribute to London fashion and make shopping a vibrant experience. It provides one with one of the best shopping experiences and give one an insight into the fashion trends to come.
Hence whilst in London, especially the central part of it, any major street that you turn into you will end up having a great shopping experience. There is not much of a likelihood that you might come out empty handed.
