On 19 September 2008 most of the influential and prominent figures of the British fashion specifically the London fashion industry celebrated a part to celebrate the completion of 25 years of the London fashion. It was twenty five years of hard work to get going an industry that is worth billions of pounds and contributes to the London economy big time. The London fashion week is a creative hub with new designers emerging all the time.
Each season different designers unveil their new collections to an audience of press and buyers who visit the London fashion capital from the UK and other cities from all over the globe.
Here people can browse or search for a catwalk designer or they can even see their past collections and find out more about the designer and his future plans.
You will be surprised to know that along with Paris and New York, London offers the best shopping experience that any other city could offer you. Visitors to London are often surprised by the sheer range of good available at the London fashion. London fashion week is a biannual trade show where each designer gets to showcase their collections and unveil the new stuff for the new season in front of a professional audience of press and potential buyers. These buyers specifically come to witness the London fashion show from all around the globe. The London fashion week is held at the Natural History Museum. These London fashion events are showcased in the Spring/Summer and in Autumn/Winter. It is strategically placed between the New York fashion week that takes place first and after the Milan and Paris fashion weeks that take place afterwards.
