Swimming is one of the most blissful, enjoyable and useful sporting indulgences, loved by men, women and children alike. But, this was somewhat different for Muslim women who followed Hijab. Swimming was banned by the Islamic strictures for the reason of swimsuits. There was no swimsuit available that would meet the religious demands as well as giving swimming comfort. Now, the times have changed and there are several brands and makes of Muslim swimwear designed for the modern Muslim woman. They come in many colors, made of Polyester, Lycra or Spandex.
