Well, the Europeans are passing through tough times due to the heat wave, raising the temperatures to record highs in the region. Yet, a big number of people are taking full advantage of it by indulging in surfing and other water sport activities, unimaginable, just the past year.
According to statistics and newspaper reports, the London markets are recording a dip in the sale of warm clothing due to the heat wave. However, the retailer ‘Mambo’ of London, having 4 outlets in London one in Zurich, is said to be finding it difficult to meet the unexpected demand for the surf wear and swimwear, the brighter side of the heat wave. ‘People are in no mood even to try on the suits and just grabbing whatever their hands can lay on’ declares, the manager of the shop. Many major and even minor players in surf wear and Swimwear category are laughing away to their Banks in the situation.
Millions of tourists and locals are in a hurry to rush towards coasts to cool the flared nerves, creating the demand for surfwear. In addition, those who could not prefer surf wear for whatever reason, are going in for the Australian brands of apparel to beat the heat. The summer situation is so intense that the Pope has asked people to pray for rains.
While the air conditioners are struggling to keep the insides of buildings cool, the surf and swimwear is riding the crest of the heat wave.
