At first, there were only six employees with start up funds of only two thousand gold marks. The production and operations were done at the back of their barn.
In 1894, Triumph was able to get orders for corsetry from England. They revolutionized the design of the corset. They tried to make corsets more comfortable by providing a certain degree of relaxation by modifying the whalebone designs on the corset. During the nineteen thirties, they even launched their first international branch in Zurzach, Switzerland. This has been the head office of Triumph up until today. Triumph boasts of about forty thousand employees worldwide and has sales of more than one and a half billion Euros a year.
