Underwear in the UK

The types of underwear usually worn in UK and in many European countries include; Sleeveless underwear which is similar to a T-shirt but without sleeves, commonly worn by men, the Lower body bikini underwear which is usually worn with the waist band lower than the wearer’s waist. The lower body bikini underwear is often worn and placed on the hips while the leg band ends at the groin. Men’s lower body bikini underwear is differentiated from women’s in that men’s briefs have no fly.
Another type of underwear worn in the UK and in most European countries is the G-string. G string underwear is made in a thong-like fashion with a narrow piece of material shaped to cover the sex organs .It is joined to a band at the hips and its made to pass through the buttocks. The Tanga underwear has covering material around the waistband only and nothing at the sides.
The Long body underwear is also popular in UK fashion stores. This is a special type of underwear that contains two-piece underwear that is specially made for winter seasons. This type of underwear is made of shirt with sleeves that goes down to the wrist and through the legs to the ankles. This underwear looks like a complete dress but its actually a soft under-cloth.
Boxer briefs are shorter and tighter than boxer shorts though they look similar and people oftentimes confused their names. Boxer shorts are underwears that looks like boxer briefs but are lose on the body. Boxer shorts are elasticized at the waist band while the leg section lose down towards the middle of the thigh. Boxer shorts waist bands are bigger than those of boxers briefs. Boxer shorts in UK do come with several designs, slogans or designer logos. They are much more colorful unlike boxers briefs which are usually plain white soft materials.
There is a special UK style of boxers briefs underwear which is known as Y-Front slips, which has an elastic waistband near the wearer’s waist while the leg section ends near the groin.
The Jockstrap underwear is usually made to fit sportsmen and women . It has a support pouch for sex organs while the elastic straps are found at the sides of the waist band to make it tight-fitting. This type of underwear usually comes with a space that can hold some small pieces of materials as well as a front plastic-like materials to protect the men’s sex organs.
